I was in downtown Charleston this weekend and pulled up to a light and looked left. A z28 with no badges rolled up next to me with 2 19ish kids in it. The passenger was waving a handful of cash out the window yelling "50 bucks says we'll take you". I got on the gas a little and the light changed we both got a good takeoff even though it had been raining a little. I had about 3 car lengths on him, when we hit the freeway on ramp. I shifted to third on then it happened, the *** end of my stang wanted to lead the way and passed me on the left. We spun around and my buddy in the passenger seat screamed "T-BONE" figuring the Camaro would surely broadside us. It didn't but the funny thing was that all I could think about was hitting the curb and messing up my rims and tires. I got it back around and we both exited to a gas station and confirmed my suspisions. It was a Z-28.

 

You'd robably loose even if you didn't race a Z28 (by the way...LT1 or LS1?). Going sideways never wins straight line races.

 

It was an LT-1, and we were all scared as hell. Including the Z-28 driver he said he damn near hit us, but I definetely had him beat. I didn't check if it was an auto or stick. I've got a stock 03 GT premium.

Something like that happened to me in my WS6. Was making a left turn at an intersection, when i saw some punks in a grand am bassing out. i wanted to show them up a little bit, so i hit the gas at the turn and my car did a 180. boy was i scared, they started laughing, and made me look like a complete idiot. now i know trans ams arent handling cars.LOL!!

 

what's funny is WS6 is supposed to be a handling package too

 

no acually my buddy's and I planned on jumping them and taking there money but came to our scenses before that happened.
