i have a 03 gt 5 speed all i had done when i went to the track was slicks and lt headers. my 60 foot was a 2.0 and i ran a 13.8 so get slicks and long tubes launch at around 4500 and you will see mid 13s my goal next season is low 13s on slicks lts tb plenum cai pullies new plugs and steeda timing adjuster. so well wee what i can pull off. oh yeah take the air snorkle off of the air box and pop out your pass. headlight. that might actully give a lil more power i had that done too

I'm not going to bash, but your 60' should be alot lower than 2.00 with slicks on. I'm getting 1.85 on my street tires. You may still be leaving the line a little hard, but the difference in times is probably 'cause you're grabbing in 2nd instead of getting a little bit of spin. I spent alot of time working out the kinks on my launch with my street tires.`I would tell you to find a nice quiet road, and just practice launching. Even with only DR's, you should be <1.8sec.

As far as the first poster, that really is a decent starting point with your mods. Don't be discouraged. Now you have a baseling to measure any upgrades you do. Keep practicing and you might be able to pull a 14.1 out of that car as is.
