I drive a 2001 mustang GT 5spd with mgw shift shifter, flows and a strut brace soon to have lm1 exhaust, sportlines and tokicos. I went to the track for the first time yesterday. My first time on the track i ran a 14.21 at 98 but my reaction time was like 1.6 so then i finally get the hang of it to get the reaction times down and now everytime for example i got a reaction time or .56 but ran a 14.6 is it my shifting or what i just want some pointers maybe a launch rpm.
geetee03 is right. Your E.T. cannot be improved by a better reaction time. Show your entire timeslip. Your short times will give a better idea if your car is spinning, etc.
That's really not that bad of a time... in all honesty, you're car isn't far of from being stock... a great 5spd stock gt run will be a 14.0x.. what was your 60"?

Very true. A 14.2 is pretty damn good for that car/mods.
