Do most people use the heel/toe method when doing a burnout at the track or do you move your left foot quickly to the brake? I'm guessing heel toe cause I don't see many people move forward at all and I know they can't all be automatics. I can't drive around the water box at my local track so i'd like to sit and spin for a couple of seconds atleast, but I didn't feel the track was the best place to practice my method.
I have a size 13 shoe and I use the heel toe method. I usually melt the tires up through first and shift to second and and then let of the brake and roll up to the staging lanes. It is easy to get the hang of it.
Use the brick lock, get off and put a brick in front of each of your 2 front tires[8D]...
Track officials tend to frown on it...LOL.
They frown on alot of things, like me running under 8.6 without a helmet all day long[8D]... They know me pretty well though so they don't kick me out... They do bitch at me though[8D]...
