I hope they spruce up the interior a bit.
This car will be the all time bargain of the century for a factory car. If I had a 100k, Id buy one in a second. 650 hspwr, light weight, warranty and good looks...DAM_!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bet it runs 10.8's @ 135-138 mph in the 1/4.
Not to mention it will top out at well past 200mph.

And if Grandma had *****, she's be Grandpa.

I know you and I would buy one, but generaly the type of consumer that can drop $100,000+ on a car will be looking for more than performance. There are people that buy cars that cost well over $100,000 that don't perform as well as a C6, let alone the Z06. Take the Ferrari F430 as an example. Only 490 hp in that bad boy.

I just think it would benefit GM if it wasn't viewed by upper class society as a "Corvette". That's not a knock on the car. This car isn't designed for you and me.

They won't have any problems selling the 1500-2000 a year they plan on building.
Copy that. My bet is that they will all be sold before the first one hits the streets. There are a ton of wealthy Vette people out there, many of the VERY wealthy Vette guys own exotics as well. Put it this way, I build custom Vettes and custom cars (check the site in my sig for more info). It's not uncommon for our customers to have over 100k in thier car, and it still has no warrenty, for many this car will be bargan in the performance VS dollars spent area.

I am not sure where you are from but around here there are a ton wealthy people who want, and will pay for a ultra high performance car that made in the US.

Where I am located, rich people don't drive Corvettes. I am in the aviation industry, specifically corporate aviation. My customers own 15 million dollar Lear jets. They aren't driving Corvettes. Maybe their kids are. My lot is full of Porsches, Lambos, Aston Martins, Benz's and Ferarri's (still waiting to see an S7).

Westchester County, New York. Home of some wealthy people. A Corvette is known as a poor man's Ferarri. I wish I was that poor man.

Ford is going to have to do something with the GT for it to be able to keep up with this monster[TT maybe].Dodge might as well throw in the towel, hell the Viper is in third place now behind the GT and the Z06 in performance.

Maybe its time for a TT Mustang. Or they could bring back the GT somehow and TT that badboy instead, or both.
