I raced my friends new manual 5.0 vert, he has o/r H pipe and CAI.

I have bbk equal shorties, o/r H, flowmasters, CAI, shift kit, and smog pump removed (all i can think of right now I don't have anything else thats major).

He thought he would beat me because its manual but I thought it would be close cause I have more stuff.
I normally don't street race, but he pulled up next to me on an open road and I couldn't resist.

I had a car and a half on him and pulling when I let of at 65.... Man that felt good.

Yea, our 92' and below verts are pretty nasty...atleast mine is anyway...I can't wait to mod it.

Those 5.0's may not be all that fast but damn, I sure like the look.

 

hey, for their age and their price, I think they are pretty quick, I mean sure its not faster than your ls1 but its still faster then 99% of the cars I will pull up to at a stop light...

I'd say mid to low 14's is decently quick.

This is true. Out of maybe 2 dozen races, I've only lost 2 or 3.
