That's the best part. You don't know if they're a stocker, or if there's a stroked/blown motor under the hood. Since so many 5.0's are modified, it's a gamble.

Big time! I usually don't race other 'Stangs, but when I see a 5.0L(I really love Fox Bodies!) I just listen and listen to find out if I can hear something unusual....those little F**kers can put a serious a$$whipping with little coin. Stroker, blower or both(!), perfect platform to lay a beatdown, light, inexpensive, tons of aftermarket stuff.....I want one!

Hell yea. For less than 5 grand, I can make my car deep into the 11's. That's not including suspension work.

That's what i am planning! a stock looking 5.0 hatch w/ a turbo. they'll never know what hit them.. until they hear the boost? local turbo company can put a stock internals 5oh into 11's
