New To Racing
Whats up everybody, yesterday was my first time going to the track... I didn't race I went with my boy and he was running a camaro with an LS1. Anyway, everybody out there who was anybody was running a line-lock so that they could burn out up to the line. Which one's do you guys have for the stang, and also, does anybody know anybody in the New York Metropolitan area that does the install?
Also, any advice for a stanger building up his ride for the track and also for the street is welcomed!

I have line-lock on 2 of my cars. One is a B&M kit and the other a Hurst. Both work fine but I don't like the switches that came with either of them. I purchased better switches (one of my shifters has the switch built in). you will most likely need an install kit or will have to get a fitting or two and appropriate lines from a local parts store. The install is easy if you have any mechanical ability and someone to help you bleed the brakes (or use automatic bleeders or a pressure bleeder). I cut and made my own lines with a flaring tool, but most parts stores will have lines that are close enough in length already (I like NAPA). The install shouldn't take more than an hour.
