Depends on the build and what hatch it's in.

a 93-94 EG hatch with the VX description weighed just over 2000 lbs stock, strip it and you got yourself a 1700 lb hatch easy, depending on the level of reduction. Then you can bore and stroke a B16 (out to roughly 1.8ish (after resleeving it) with 12.5:1 compression pistons, skunk2 stage 2 (or stage 3) cams, gears, hondata ecu, jdm itr tranny with an LSD and a final drive of 4.875, upgrade the fuel/spark, jdm ITR header, straight through cat, full catback exhaust, short ram intake, and a short shifter amongst other things like a flywheel/clutch it can be making about 250-275+ hp and 200ish ft lbs torque and it can run 11s with proper suspension and sticky rubber. I'm not too sure just how streetable this setup would be, but I do know of a gutted EK hatch running 10s that is completely street legal.

Ouch... 1700 lb car

Bah, screw weight.
I went with a hatch so now I pay the penalty of weighing in almost as much as an SN95

2000si, whats the deal with you lol... have you abandoned the import people becuase most of them are ridiculous? Your one of the very few people the run imports that seem logical and know there ****. I'm just wondering why you post so much on a mustang forum.

This place is fun...that's why. I love the little spats I get into with people on here.

Also, I'm on hondaswap.com, hondashowoff.com and mainstreamtopics.com as well.

Is it possible For a 98' honda civic to run low 11's N/A. no NoS, no turbo,no gutted. nothing. completely stock except for a built v-tech motor and radials? He said he could smoke my mustang with my mods.He said i could get 5 car lengths on my car.I pesronally have never seen a N/A honda civic go past 16's so I think he full of it, and I said lets race, and he'll never commit to race me.
My cousin has a CRX that's N/A and has more money into it that any reasonable person would do. Don't get me wrong, it's a fun car, but it runs mid to low 13's. (When it runs)

It's got all kinds of electrical problems that has everybody stumped. So I think he gave up. He hasn't driven it for about a year now. He had a kid...Lost interest...Doesn't care anymore...

My point???? No on the N/A 11's. 1/8th maybe.
