Is it possible For a 98' honda civic to run low 11's N/A. no NoS, no turbo,no gutted. nothing. completely stock except for a built v-tech motor and radials? He said he could smoke my mustang with my mods.He said i could get 5 car lengths on my car.I pesronally have never seen a N/A honda civic go past 16's so I think he full of it, and I said lets race, and he'll never commit to race me.

Well, for comparison.

I raced a Gutted Turbo Civic and he could only pull a 13.3
Not sure on the boost, but I saw the interior.
Had a Roll cage, no other seats, that G-Trac bar thing, carpet gone and i think the door panels were gone too.

Dunno what else was done to it, but if a Gutted Turbo civic could only pull down a 13.3 I don't imagine an N/A civic ever hitting 11's.
Unless you tossed in a much bigger engine

Those honda guys through 11s around like its no big thing. I bet he wont even break into the 15s.

 

A built VTEC motor can be pretty potent. A 98 Civic came with a sohc vtec with at most 127 hp so I'd like to know exactly what he's done to this motor...or if he's dropped in a built B series motor, at most he's running 14s with radials.
