Any early 70's Chevy Vega.......damn things rusted in the showrooms, had a cast iron head on an aluminum block(which had sprayed in cylinder liners-would wear out in less than 20K miles!). In high school (early 80's) friend had a '73 Vega GT(oohhh, I'm shaking!), thing was garage kept, less than 15K miles on it at the time. One day he was feeling frisky and wanted to race(I had a German Ford Capri V-6).........blew his engine out on take off(I was already about 5 car lengths ahead and saw the smoke in my rearview mirror).
Had to help him push it home........F-ing POS! I still, to this day, have a back ache 'cause of that turd. I'll gladly drive any of the previously mentioned turkeys on this thread before driving a Vega(well.......except for the Cosworth Vega-lol)

 

don't know about the worst car, but the worst ride was definately my EX.
