So some guy at my work says his 1974 f100 all stock can beat my 5.0 which is basically stock, its manual and it have a v8 he doesnt know much more but he says it can peel out all over...well it is a pickup so I would think it could do that....who do u think woudl win a race?

 

So his smog motored, mid 70's low compression V-8 is supposed to out run your engineered for accelerating quickly from the factory
5.0L Mustang????? Pickups are light in the rear when unladen, so it gives the impression that the truck has more ***** than what is reality. Race him, shut him up and make him buy you a beer.[sm=icon_cheers.gif]

 

definitly race for drinks. no way a 70s truck will beat you unless he has a new motor with lotsa go fast ****....not likely.

 

HAHA ask supercharger_man_85 about the race he had with an early 70's chevy pickup.. damn thing runs 13.7's
