Low 12's to high 11's are possible on the stock turbo.

A buddy of mine had an EVO MR with about $1800 invested in it (straightpipe exhaust, boost controller, cams, intake and a reflash by Shiv @ Vishnu). He ran a 12.2 at the track with a slipping clutch. The 4g63 is a great motor.

I'm real tired of EVO's! Don't get me wrong, it's a nice car! When your a stock GT and EVO's roll past you laughing, it's getting old. I'm looking to trade my GT in for a Terminator.

Please don't generalize all EVOs and their owners because of a few young punks out there. I'm a true car enthusiast! I'm up for any car that goes quick or just looks nice. It drives me nuts when a few people out there feel like their car is the bomb and make fun of others. Whether your driving an EVO, a Cobra, or a Vette etc.. there's always something faster out there. Trust me, punks like this will get there doors blown off one day!

I rode in my buddies C6 this afternoon during lunch. It looks stock but of course it's a vette, but you wouldn't think the thing runs 10.7 @ 129. He had a twin-turbo kit installed in it and it's a monster.. I thought my car felt quick! It's funny, his license plate says "Udloose".. Maybe a few of these EVO owners will run into this guy one day???? I know he'd tear me a new one!

As for the original post, it really depends on what year EVO your talking about. 03/04/05 bolt-ons and tune, mid to high 12's. 06 bolt-ons and tune, low 12's. This is all considering the driver know's what he/she is doing. 06's are just responding better to simple bolt-ons.

only ran one guy with an evo and he was cool. at the track here he ran a 12.8 @ 107. Beat me really easily. Would like to see what it runs with a DA' at or below 0.

there is a TT C6 around here also. on a low boost has 780rwhp and made 996rwhp on high boost

It depends on a lot of factors, such as year or even model. It can also depend on what you define as bolt ons. To some, they consider bolt on to be everything execpt a turbo upgrade. Others believe bolt ons are just minor mods such as TBE, MBC/EBC, and Tune. Also it can depend on rather your talking about pump gas, meth/pump gas, or race gas. The author of this thread needs to be more specific, because we could be talking about a mid to high 11 second car to a mid to high 12 second car, there is no way to even take a decent guess without a little more specifics.

For example (taking into consideration a decent driver) a 2004 EVO VIII GSR with a TBE, MBC, Intake, Fuel Pump, and Flash could run a 12.7@108MPH on pump gas. Now throw the same mods on a 2006 EVO IX GSR and your possibly looking at a car that runs a 12.1@113MPH, add some race gas and your looking at possibly a 11.9@116MPH. Even a pump gas EVO IX with the same mods have ran 11s but with excellent driver. Now if you consider bolt on to be everything except a turbo upgrade than nvr2old32 is an example of what an EVO's stock turbo potential is.

It can be very complicated.

The fact is that these cars are built factory to be pretty quick and quicker w/ mild mods. People always talk about its launch. I don't think you really can call them "ricers". They are tough cars, but just keep thinking about how cheap you could pick up a stang for and make it go way faster for less money.

+1.. My buddy down the street has an older model 5.0 and for what he paid and put into it, I'd guess it's about $15,000 - $20,000 less then my car and mods! He's running a little quicker time (11.6) but his trap speed is really impressive (124).
