When I was looking for a stang I saw on of the little guys at a car lot and test drove it. Pretty quick car, the power band kicks in at 4k and it pull pretty good till about 8700k but I still picked the stang, something about an american v8`s rumble.

They are similar I think to a BMW Z3. They are stylish, handle extremely well, but nothing to write home about as far as accelleration goes.

i raced one 3 times on the highway from 55mph to 120mph, all three times i put between one to two cars on him, even when he got the jump... case closed for me.

Case closed for me. You barely beat him. Come on, 2 cars (I assume that was when he didnt get the jump) from 55 to 120 is NOT!!! a beating and could have been changed if you had a full tank and he had 1/4 I bet it would have been even (those cars are VERY!!! sensitive to weight). I am NOT! saying your car is not faster HC, but it is not appreciably faster in my opinion.

Now, another point. A roll race is determined by trap speed. Suspension does not matter and neither does ET. Therefore I will have to point out that HC's last posted timeslip is this:14.170 @ 101.2 MPH. I have YET!!! To see a 99-04GT trap 101+ mph man. I am just saying that if you trapped 100.2 that S2K woulda put a car or so on you. Hence, I rest my paper-racing case. Stock 99-04 GT <S2K in that scenario.

assmunch makes a point there... the few times i've ran against a new edge the turn out was pretty much the same as the s2000, 1 to 2 cars difference.
