vette's...is just it me or...
nah, i just wanted my ride to look a little more like yours. j/k, seriously, the headgasket let go and spewed oil and water under my tires. that slick **** just flung me off the road. details coming after insurance fixes her up.
are the owners really jerks? ive seen a few on the roads and they just look at me like im a soccer mom. well yesterday i had a girl in the car, listening to beethoven with the a/c on having a "talk". well this guy pulls up to me with a C4 'vette and ggets next to me. i pumped the gas in fifth and he just takes off. well hell, i dropped it in third at 70 (big mistake) and i hit redline immediately. when i shifted to fourth i started reeling the 'vette in. when i hit fifth i knew what was up and so did he. i just pulled up to his back bumper then let off. i think thats funnier than passing. we took a long sweeping turn (i know that corners at 130+ are not safe) and i let him know that he was owned. usually after something like that i would talk to the guy. i tried to get up next to him but he kept nudging up. we got to another clear spot but i had to exit. i atleast wanted to wave but he took off. i guess he didnt like the whole "fast" 4 door thing. the girl laughed at him and called him a butt hurt compensater. i guess thats funny enough.

update: the cocky phucker raced one of our "slower" wrx's and got his *** handed to ohim even with a "soft" launch. he raced the blue 03 outfitted with intake, headers, downpipe, exhaust, up pipe, ecu, vf-29 turbo, aps HUGE frount mount intercooler, fuel system, etc...the vette got walked. i put 2 cars on the blue 'ru last week. i hate that 'vette jerk. rob told the kid afterwards that if he still didnt believe, that i would go full throttle on him next time. at 3/4 i caught him and stayed at his rear bumper at 130 mph.
Hey Birdman... what kind of blower do you run and what all have you done to your engine?

another update: our "slower" blue wrx ran 12.7' at the track saturday...on stock snow tires and stock tranny. at least he knows not to challenge me yet.
Time to throw in my $.02. I hang out with a lot of Corvette guys; in fact, I'm the only one among my circle of friends with a Ford. I've been to a few large-scale 'vette gatherings, and 90% are great people who appreciate fast cars no matter what the badge. Yeah, there are going to be a certain percentage of jerks in any community; I'm sure there are a few Mustang-driving jerks out there, too. Myself, I respect anyone who cares more about how their car performs than how much bolt-on crap is hanging off of it.
