Default Power?

Ok I know people hate will I win or will this person win questions. But I've raced this girl before when she had the stock motor with just a turbo running about I believe 8 psi. And beat her decently. Ok well she blew her motor and just installed this. b18a1...with these mods...eagle h beam rods, je 9:1 pisotns ,bored .20 over, arp rod and mainbolts, lighted crank shaft, act extream clutch, b&m short shifter, turbonetics t3/t4 turbo, drag log style manafold, turbonetics evolution wastgate, drag intercooler and piping, aem fuel pressure regulater, blok fmu, 3inch down pipe, custom 2 1 4 inch exhaust, tein s tech lower springs , megan racing lower control arms, number 1 front strut bar,. Ok what I'm asking is what kind of power do you think she is going to put to the wheels after she properly tunes it and breaks the engine in. We already have the 2 races set up. One from a stop and one from a roll. And the car is an acura integra. I have a feeling even if I installed the 125 shot nozzel that I would still get whooped. Am I wrong or will I get stomped? She said that she is going to start out by running 7psi then go to 14 then when she goes to the track she is going to run 28. So if it's just the 7-14 psi what am I looking at here?

Sorry about the long post. I will post the results of the race up when she gets the motor broken in. But just want to see what I will be looking at before we finally do race.

You know, this sounds like a Honda forum question. I mean, you're asking a bunch of Mustang guys how much power a built and boosted B18 is going to make. [:-] Beats me; but it's probably either pretty darned fast or pretty darned slow.

civicfourdoorsleeper might have an answer to that question. T3/T4 is not that big of a turbo really.

There is a HUGE difference between 7 psi and 28psi btw haha. You should set up a race with her at the track just to watch her run 28psi and see a brand new engine throw a rod!

Seriously, she'll blow that motor again unless she has separate tunes for pump / race gas or runs methanol / water injection and knows how to tune for it.

Your *** is grass. My friend has a SOHC mid 90's civic with a ****ty $500 homebuilt motor he threw togather in his spare time and put a junkyard turbo on and bumped to around 13psi or something, he ran 14.3@95 IIRC. Its his toy/fun car and he has blown it up once already, just a beater he plays with, hers sounds more serious than that.

Where is Civic4doorsleeper when you need him??? I agree with WRX though... if she really runs that high of boost on pump gas it might make for an interesting night... and even more interesting for her check book... make her this bet... if shes cute... if you lose, she gets to be on top ... this way it's a win/win...

What kind of T3/T4 is it? 28 pounds at the strip? Haha how do you go from 14 on the street to 28 at the track. She's a dumb bitch. 9:1 compression is a bit high for a motor purposely built for "high boost." Depending on what size the turbo is at 7-14 pounds she could make anywhere from 220-380 whp. But remember from a dig that **** will never hook unless she dropped just as much money into the suspension as she did into the motor.

Regardless of the details with a 125 shot you will more than likely straight up freightrain her from a dig. Now on the role it could get extremely nasty in her favor. So many details left out that can severely change the outcome of this race.

With the 125 shot you might be able to take her. Depending on how much boost she's running. At 7psi you would win with the juice, at 14 itll be closer, but still you. At 28... assuming she has all the supporting mods to actually handle 28psi, she will win by a bit. Thats my .02$
