tonight went to chill with a friend in greenville. well we hit the highway and raced numerous times mostly from rolls at about 40. we were dead even most races and i didnt start pulling away until 90+.

he has off road x pipe, loudmouth 2 catback, dyno tune, and 4.10s.
Mach's are awesome right out of the box. It took me a god deal of money to be able to beat stock ones (manuals), but I smoke auto mach's (even mildly modded ones) all day. The manulas are hella quich though and Ive beaten some as well. Im looking into buying a auto mach soon and add full exhaust, 4:30's (staying n/a), 3400+ stall and some nitto dr's.
I dont get your post
Manual mach's run 13.5 or better and auto's 13.5 or worse. I avg low 13's in my car therefore can run with stock manual mach's and smoke auto mach's.
Are you saying that you dont belive i hung with him? I dont think a stock mach can run 13.5, much less better

Nah man, Im not doubting u at all. Im agreeing with you, but wanted to add my .2$ about being able to run with you guys. Mach's are deadly in stock form and can run with 03-04 cobras that are stock. Im saying it cost me abit of $ to be able to run with a stock mach, thats all.

I know a guy with mach, he has long tube headers and exhaust, and then otherwise stock engine. He done some suspencion work, and it goes high 12 seconds on street tires.

The guy is bracket racer with some experience. The only thing I can think of is that your mach is auto and you started with wrong gear, or you have manual and you started with wrong gear. 40 mph is 2nd gear right around 1500 rpms, crappy start brotha. Get it into sweet spot, 3000 rpm and on, then race.

He doesnt have an auto, and if you see what the GT has, and from a roll, it would be a good race. I'm sure driver has something to do with it, but if the guy with the Mach has gone 13.6 in the 1/4, I'm sure the GT is around 13.8-14, depending on driver, but from a roll its a whole nother story. And they both have the same mods basically, cept the Mach has a CAI and the GT has gears, plus a dyno tune, which the dyno tune will yield him another 10rwhp or so.

13.5 for an pretty good driver, 13.3-4 for a great driver.

Those machs are pretty nasty from a dig. They mod extremely well too.
