I dunno man, that Lincoln Zephyr looks pretty sweet and for '07 has a 265HP 4cam 3.5L sixer.......that MC SS looks like an AMC reject IMO..........

Not to mention the fact that FWD hooks up like dogsh_t!!!!!!!!! Still I'd much rather have a MC SS over any sedan Ford makes.

People seem to remember the LT1 Impala Super Sport as being worthy of the SS badge, but it would get run down by a Cobalt SS.
And the Camaro SS? Sure it actually had some *****, but the SS package itself was just cosmetic. So yeah, "SS" doesn't really strike fear into the hearts of other cars any more.

other than that, its a supercharged V6 of some sort, i think 3.8 or something like that.
the 3.8 does 0-60 in 6.5, the 5.3 does it in 5.5.

i went to a car show and saw a 4 door slowbalt that had SS badges plastered all over it. from the factory.

And the 4 door Cavabalt SS is NOT supercharged.And what about those slow *** 454SS silverados they made in the early 90's.Hell my S-10 SS only has a 190hp 4.3 in it,not worthy of the SS badge IMO,but since they only made about 1400 in '97 I can overlook it.Plus if I were too drop a LT1/LS1 in it the worthyness would return.

I'm still trying desperately to wrap my head around the idea.........V8 powered FWD sedans. WTH? I mean, if they gave those cars some performance tuned suspension it might not be that bad. But they have the same squishy suspension that alot of other 4 door FWD cars have that are only pushing 4 and 6 cyl motors. I rode in one of the new 5.3's with the owner "gettin on it"..........it scared me, but not in a cool way.[

Heh the trailblazer is the only SS in production I like as of now. Last one I saw did low 14's. I could imagine the guy's face who gets the MC over the Trailblazer and gets smoked by a big *** SUV. Priceless.
