A Bullitt will run a high 13 stock, even in hot weather. Your own bible (MM&FF) says so.
LMFAO!!!!!! +1 TommyV8 hahahhahahahaaa

I would say that the win will go to the EVO. They will have to launch it well but they have the advantage. The launch is a BIG part in any race. I would say they can move on the topend too but if the launch suxs then they will have to play SERIOUS catchup.

For example, My friend bogged in his WRX and the Cobalt that he was racing go about a 3/4 to 1 car lead on him from the launch. They were both 99% stock. I say close race but the EVO should win safely w/ equal drivers. If one messes up then it could go either way but the advantage is still w/ the EVO.

ok.. the only way evo's and STi's can get good runs is if they launch it from damn near redline... otherwise they bog out.

How about you come race me and I'll show you that's far from true. I'll stop and let you catch up so you can admit you were wrong.

Evo = Evil

Finding a staock evo is like finding a stock mustang.

I would have to disagree. I see plenty of stock stangs whether they are sixers, or GTs or whatever. They are more numerous than EVOs though. I only recently started seeing EVOs, at least in my area. They are all modded and seem to get down the street pretty damn good.

My friends Evo launches hard all the time. Revving it to redline just makes it launch really hard.

The stock Evo I raced ran 13.44 on a 2.0 60 ft (I actually outlaunched him with my 2.02). If he really did get a 1.7 60 ft, which many of you say a stocker can pull, what would he have run? 13.1? 13.0? That's pretty damn good.
