earlier tonight while leaving movie theatre parking lot black camaro rolled past me as I started up he stops revs up and lets me kno he has a ridiculously loud exhuast system, by far the best exhaust Ive heard coming from any chevy. So i pull out next to him and he asks if I wanna jump on the highway, unfortunately I only have barely an eighth of gas, so I tell him this and he answers back by saying "oh of course you do", and then redlining his motor. so im thinking alright I have to give him what he wants, no mustang is gonna take that, haha.........so I end up following him onto the highway we slow to 40 he honks to three and I pull ahead by about one length in fourth. He then pulls back up and signals "one more time", I agree we slow to 40 this time I honk to three and the exact same thing happens, he pulls up again and just stares with a confused look on his face, it was priceless, then I drop it and take off leaving him......Just thought I'd let you know Mustang sends another over-rated Camaro home sucking on fumes....hahahahaha

So, a car that is better in every performance aspect than yours when both are stock, and a few years older, is over-rated? WTF? [&:]

Don't LT1's handle like walking turds?

I mean, i know a new edge is no corner carver, but.... oh well..

and a 14.0-14.2 car would be even with a 14.0-14.2 car in my books

Ehhh well dont start that ****. LT1 would pull away from you in most cases from a roll. They are much better up top that you are. SSteele is welcome here anytime by the way.

That is a fair argument, but at the same time, you've also got to consider that Ford (aside from the Cobras) has never tried to OUTGUN the F-Body...

so while yes, it has taken a 99-04GT to run with a '93-'97 LT1, you hvae to keep in your mind that it is pretty obvious that Ford never made a 100% effort to keep pace,,, im not saying they would have, or wouldnt have, but they never really tried..

just some food for thought
