Default i lost the feeling

this is the first time and last time i will ever actually throw my own opinion on this subject. I have read many storys of people street racing and people on here also bashing street racing. it has nver bothered me because i was a street racer. for a time i was always on the prowl. i was hungry for whatever i could find on the street. It was almost like street racing was in my blood. I actualy was invovled in a bad accident where my current 05 gt damaged to the sum of 20K. and even after that when i got the car back 3 months later i was still out thier doing it. in fact after i got it back, i decided it was time to lleave the n/a/ world. well after many runs, and beating so many cars, one night on a friday 2 months ago a mustang pulls up at the red light i was at, and wants to race. it was midnight, but being i had to officers in the navy in the car i decided not to. Well as the light turned green he flored it and to my suprise thier was a cop behind us, and the fricken cop hits his lights, goes after the other mustang way down the road, and puls him over, as i come up to them he runs out and tells me to pull over. to make a long story short. 3k later, friday the courts gave me a verdect of not guilty. so inbetween the time of the incident and tonight i have not street raced, and ive gone to the tracks many times and didnt even run. tonight i ran just to celebrate, but when i got back to town i knew the street scene was on, and boy was i ready. but i found myself out of place, and not reaaly sure about the whole idea. i will prob get all sorts of insulting comments about this post and alot of people saying stupid things, but after this whole ordeal, i realized that its not that important to me anymore. because of racing illegaly i risk so much. and tonight i realized i will never street race again. the point of this post is not to bash street racing, its more for you people that do. be careful, thats all, and know what you risk, not only you or someone elses life but in some cases like mine, everything. If your the badest on the street then sweet, just be safe, if thier is any such thing in street racing called safe. And remeber to just use your head, if you dont feel comfortable doing something like running then dont, because sometimes you have to ask yourself, is this crap worth it. the other guy in the other mustang has lost his licence for 3 years, and faces a lot of fines and crap. i got off because i am fortnate to be able to afford things like costly lawers, which was money that could have been spent elsewhere. i dont like saying this but better him than me. so for all the street racers, this will be my final post in this section. i wish you all the best and remember, thier is always someone faster than you. thanks for reading and please pardon my spelling, it 3:24 in the a.m and my eyes are barey open.

Well if you look at it its sorta true because you need to be extremly careful and think about consequences following what you are gona do. Nowdays everyone wants to street race but the problem is they race at residential areas and thats not safe for them or people around them. If you are gona race, freway or just some streets with no houses around is the way to go and not school zones or populated areas. Everyone learns their lesson hard way and you sure did. i`m glad u didnt end up in jail and had your license taken away or suspended.

Can you at least get the feeling of proper paragraph usage so we can read your stories of losing the feeling on street racing.

I for one do not approve of street racing in any shape or form. I don't care how good a driver you think you are, you're just endangering other people and yourself when doing that ****.

Sounds like you had a good wake up call =) I don't think anyone here will give you **** for that, you're just realizing it's better to stay safe. As you grow older, you realize more and more how much is truly on the line (your safety, others' safety, your career in some cases, your license) when you street race.

I give you a thumbs up!

Some people never lose it. My dad is 63 and just this past summer he took it to the street to shut up some loudmouthed guy with an STI at a burger joint cruise.[sm=smiley36.gif] He did the same thing to some kid with a Mustang on another occaision.
