No,F-body owners prefer action of the four legged variety.

I can't argue, most mustangs do get bent over when we run into them on the street
LMAO, what about all those 3rd Gens that I smoke on my 21 Speed Bicycle?

Oh snap cheap shot Guess we don't speak of any contemporary F-Body before the LT1?

What about all the 96-98 GT's that these 15+yo 3rd gens can beat? My friend ran 14.4 with his M5 305 3rd gen with only intake and exhaust.
OH SNAP, I guess the mod motors dont get much nut hugging until 05, do they? Wow, you STILL woulda thought ford could beat GM's 4th gen with their 5th gen. Sigh, some things never change

i thought the sales pretty much indicated who won that war...

2004-2005 mustang sales = 272,000

2004-2005 camaro sales = 0

ohh shnap! [sm=smiley3.gif][sm=smiley36.gif]

I think that DOES sum it up, a dime-a-dozen car for the masses. Everyone knows the mustang is more of a compromise than the F-body when it comes to how it was built. Mustang is meant for EVERYONE (hence the 4X4 stance, the dryer dial steering, and the auto transmission calibrated to the same shift firmness as a towncar), the F-body was meant more for purists.

Yeah, I had to drive my old fox the other day and I cant belive how out-dated and slow it felt, It still sounds like sex though!!! (PS, it ran faster times than my friends EFI 5.0 with a E303 cam and full boltons by over 1mph. I guess my combo wasnt so bad afterall). And talk about HANDLING ugh, I love the SLA in the F-body compared to the ever-changing front end geometry on the mustang with a modified mcphearson setup.

Purist in that I like something that is for pure performance, unlike the mustang which is designed as a total compromise, to go off-road, has an auto that shifts smooth so old ladies wont spill their geritol in the back seat, and an imprecise steering wheel.

We had a lady come into service with a mustang at my dealership that couldnt even walk without a cane. If you look at the ground clearance the offroad part becomes immediately beliveable

ehh whatever helps us both sleep at night [8D] ...you might win some battles, but you lost the war back in 2002, that's good enough for me.
