Yes, EVERY mod, in some way, does.

Even that little intake does. BUT, the additional wear/tear is so noticeable, put 2 identical motors with an intake vs. no intake, and the no intake MAY last 50 miles more in the end (lasting way over 150K miles, by the way).

F/I is the major wear/tear adder. Nitrous is F/I, because it puts in more oxygen that what the motor would suck in under vacume.

 

I think low 13s high 12s on street tires is fast enough. Ya gotta beable to throw some ET Meats back there and run 10s though. Theres a challenger here in Iceland that does that. Sometimes with slicks, sometimes without. He says its to see what type of cars he can race against out in town. Makes sense. Here in Iceland EVERYONE street races. Even grams and gramps. Theyre BIG time dumb here....No offense if any of yalls moms or dads are Icelandic btw.
