So, the other day on the way to my mom's for thanksgiving I was driving through Tyler Texas...Is anyone here from there, been there? Well, we drove through at like 11 pm, and every jackass in his mom's ratted out camry wants to race me and I've got my wife and 2 year old asleep in the car...THEN I pull up next to an EVO VIII and think oh great, I'm dead meat...so I accelerate like normal, and wouldn't you know the only other sane person in town is the only other one actually driving a fast car that night...he didn't push at all, because he knew I wasn't pushing...
not the first time I've had this problem, not just in Tyler but in many other towns (including a 98 stratus that spun it's wheels when I pulled up next to it at a redlight in my srt-6)....that's why I like the idea of a sleeper

I myself don't always wanna race at a light...some people cannot understand that.

 

I know what you are talking about its always the slow a$$ cars that want to go all out on the red lights or stop signs, I dont even go over 3500 rev to go past some people that are flooring it

 

I baby off lights and the Ls1 3rd gear blows me by em (if it takes THAT long).

Ya i dont like racing from lights either, it just seems a little hard on your car to dump it, just to beat some idiot in a 4 banger. They way i look at it there the ones trying to prove they got a fast car, we already have one. But occasionally, u just got to put them in there place.

 

I cant let anyone rev at me and get away with it. Cause we all know that they will go on their forums Honda, Toyota, Nissan, and say how they smoked a Mustang GT. Me personally cannot stand the thought of it so i have to shut them all down.[sm=gears.gif]
