Tyler Texas
I like the competitive spirit!!!! I would hope they'd call BS on those forums just like you all would if I tried to claim that I beat the EVO with a stock 1998 GT...people know better, if they don't, who cares??
The city of Tyler itself is ok. I'm from the country, I love a nice empty, winding back road. They DO have some real morons though, kids mostly, that cruise because there's nothing better to do. I think that might explain the environment of lametivity that night....

So, the other day on the way to my mom's for thanksgiving I was driving through Tyler Texas...Is anyone here from there, been there? Well, we drove through at like 11 pm, and every jackass in his mom's ratted out camry wants to race me and I've got my wife and 2 year old asleep in the car...THEN I pull up next to an EVO VIII and think oh great, I'm dead meat...so I accelerate like normal, and wouldn't you know the only other sane person in town is the only other one actually driving a fast car that night...he didn't push at all, because he knew I wasn't pushing...
not the first time I've had this problem, not just in Tyler but in many other towns (including a 98 stratus that spun it's wheels when I pulled up next to it at a redlight in my srt-6)....that's why I like the idea of a sleeper

one reason for this is the ppl in slow cares have to prove to them selves that they are fast. ppl in the fast cars already know they are fast so they have nothing to prove. haha
