I don't think I've ever heard of a '06 Si running 14.7 stock,low 15s is about the best.And as far as boost goes,I know it's a different car and it's a supercharger vs a turbo,but the stage2 kit for Cavabalt SS bumps the boost to 15psi[from 12psi stock]and is good for about 40hp,but it does include injectors,tune, and the pulley.Still I can't see a stock v6 beating a GTi.

GTI all the way sorry dude... its 2.0 turbo charged rated at i believe 200hp... and if im correct you 6ers aren't putting any where near 200 to the crank...
Nope, 193 isnt ANYWHERE near 200. At all. Pull your hand out of your ***. Yes indeed though, GTi has it. Lighter and more power. Its all good though.

What are the top of the line N/A cars of the same bodystyle? I was driving the other day and was playing with a 2004 or newer V-dub hatch after he did a little fly-bye on me at like 55mph, i attempted to shut him down and was catching him and starting to pull hard at about 85, then we had to shut down and brake because of traffic. I know he wasnt turbo, but the car was nice. Not sure what it was. Any ideas?

It's not all in the numbers. Gearing and overall engine power matter more. The V6 may make more power but it's power band is probably much smaller than the GTI.

The GTi and V6 stang make VERY similar HP and TQ numbers, but split port V6 mustangs are just slow. Sorry dude, but its true. I own one, and there is a vast amount of potential, but these things are just dag nasty slow. You also have to consider the torque curves, and where in the RPM ranges the two motors make hp. Lots of things that account for a car's speed and acceleration.
