Default F430

So the other night I was picking up a buddy of mine and when we pulled out of his neighborhood onto the main road, this ferrari 430 spyder rolls by and throws me a rev. There was nobody on the road so I was down for a race. I followed him and he turned onto a long straight stretch of road and we both started in 2cd. My horn doesnt work and the other guy didn't honk so I just punched it when I heard him take off. I guess it was a little late because he pulled a car right away but we stayed locked like that up to 120 mph when we let off. We went again from 2cd and the same thing happened I gave him a thumbs up and ogled his car a little before going on my way. When I turned off on another road, I noticed that my air conditioning and traction control had both been on the whole time [:@]

Awesome run mano. Not only that, you had a passenger with you. I bet you could have edged him out if you gave him another go

Yeah, thanks man. I felt like the biggest ricer though -explaining to my buddy that I lost because of: extra weight, air conditioning and traction control --I might as well have just said that I was set up for drift, not drag and that my 12 inch tach wasnt working [X(]

Hopefully I can get another run with a 430 sometime or maybe even a gallardo. Either way, the real test comes when my friend wants to run me in his c6 z06. I'm pretty nervouse about that one.

TURN OFF THE TRAC CONTROL! With your sig figures you should hold your own until the end of 3rd. After that, ....screw it get a pulley!

I have 3:73s. I obviously would have gotten the 4:10s but I knew that I had big plans for the engine that involved lots of low-end torque.

The worst part is that I cant pully my car until I upgrade the fuel lines. Im running dual ford GT40 fuel pumps and 60 lb injectors and the tuner was barely able to get enough fuel into the engine at redline (7K). If want any more power out of this thing (and there's lots left) I'm gonna be doing some fuel delivery mods first
