well im a really active member of the cobalt forums and we worked out a michigan meet over there last night. there were the cobalts and two mustangs. one was me, the other was my friends base auto. the cobalts were a stock 2.2 a modded 2.2(intake, exhaust, tune), and an ss/sc. here are the videos taken from the stock 2.2.

im on the far right, my friend is right next to the 2.2 and the modded 2.2 is all the way down to the right.

the ss kinda got a ****ty launch, but the v6 continued to pull, so it looks like a pretty even match up.

haha jk, but that cop came up right behind us RIGHT before we were about to honk and roll race. luckily we all saw him.

over all it was a really fun night. not exactly crazy, but definately fun, and when spring comes around we are gonna get more cobalts (2.4's, 2.2's, and ss/sc) and if any of you guys wanna come you should.

 

Are you serious. First of all I just don't get racing secondly those videos are sickening. Too dark and way to much movement to see what is going on. I must be getting old....

Yes you are, I didn't have a problem seeing them.

Yea, stock for stock the SiXXXeR should have a slobalt, mod for mod the balt will eat 'em.

 

well the cobalts run mid-low 14's, so really it's the faster car, but yea mod for mod they are a pretty big amount faster.
