yea I agree w/ 2000si...I had a Mach One w/ an exhaust do the same thing 2 me while I was sitting at a light he was coming the other way and right b4 he passed me he floored it...I've seen him around town b4 and he's seen me...I think alot of ppl do it maybe there tryin to say ..."hey ur cars fast but so is mine"..

 

It's not really a big deal I guess. But why in world would you want to roast the tires and waste the rubber for a show. I could see rev'ing the engine, but why burn-out up the street.

really the only time i get revved at is when my friends and i pass each other or when its another 'Stang and hes usually waving/nodding when he revs, so, i just say "hi" back. haha

 

I get rev'ed at all the time, it's a part of having a fast car. Although, it's mainly Mustangs/imports that rev at me, probably b/c that's the majority of cars on the road around here. Can't drive 2 miles w/o seeing 10 Mustangs and 20 riced out Honda's.

 

yeah and out of those 10 mustangs maybe 1 is a cobra or a GT. to many 6 bangers here.
i rev at people with other GTs or cobras or TAs. i just do it for fun just to say hey or just to let them know i like there car. LOL i dont get intimidated of a car . lol

LOL my buddy has exhaust cut outs..He revs at everything that looks fast. He does it to start races..I have reved but only to other stangs.As a hello!! Here is one for ya.. i live on abusy street and 4 houses up there is a HONDA FARM.. Well off to my right is a Motor cycle wanna be gang. Well tons of cars drive by my house and rev everyday..Im not joking..It used to be so annoying. I mean cars would bark there tires out front to just going 5 mile an hour and rev as the coast by.But there is alot of differnt rides that comes to my house so i guess they just want me to invite them over heheheh.

Or maybe he just felt like being as *** and knew that his LS1 sounded good going in an opposite direction from an '04 Cobra.
