You can use them like a trans brake. Alot of guys use them here. You lock it in like you would on the front and mash the gas to the floor. your rear end doesn't rotate this allows you to launch leavel. Do you under stand?

isnt that the same as doing a brake stand? and couldn't you just use the ebrake, then drop it when you go?

A line lock holds the pressure on the front brakes and releases the pressure on the back brakes. This allows the rear tires to be free to rotate. Do YOU understand?

the advice about holding the brakes and revving as high as you can without the tires spinning is good. dont listen to the guys arguing about line locks and trans brakes because it doesnt actually have anything to do with you.

since they are hondas i would race them from a dig(standing still) - you have the torqueier engine, so you will prevail.

BUT, my biggest piece of advice is PRACTICE THIS BEFORE YOU ACTUALLY RACE. go find some huge open parking lot and try it a few times. Then once you get it down try it at a deserted stop sign ot traffic light(watch for cops!!!!!). street racing is dangerous, so remember, dont do anything stupid. Read all the posts you can find about accidents, that will probably help you more than all the advice post on here.

good luck and post up the kills!!!

Im not sure if this will be the same for you but i have a 05 v6 auto and when i launch my car i brake torque it but when the one guy said rev it as much as you can before ur tires start loosing traction. For me i just rev it up to 2000-2500 rpm. When i rev it past that the tires squeak which means there slipping a bit. Im not too sure if that will be the same for you because u have an earlier model. but hey, its worth a shot. i did alot of experimenting with reving it to different rpms and thats what worked best for me. try it, it cant hurt.

I really don't think the brakes would hold,I know it doesn't matter how hard I push the brakes on my S10 anything past half throttle gets the tires spining, and it's only a 4.3.Also wouldn't that be rough as hell on your driveline?
