hold the brake and rev the engine as far up as you can with the tires holding traction...then let go of the brake!

+1 It doesn't matter if you have O/D on or off because it will disengage once you floor the accelerator. Also manual shifting does nothing just let the computer do its job.

Launching like all the guys told you is good advise. But I would shift it like a manule. But I dont know much about a mustang. If you really want good launches put a line lock on the rear brakes. then your rearend doesn't rotate and you don't spin. It works like a trans brake like on dragcars.

yea,
load the rear end (wheel)up to..idk..2k rpms with Trac Control Off.

o/d wont matter, its for Highway. but, you can turn it off anyway.

and the D-2-D didnt help me out at all, and its an auto, so i wont manualy shift it any more..i wouldn't recomend it.

and from a roll, its goes 1Honk....2honk...(floor it)..3Honk. thats just me though and how i beat the Firebird from a 30mph roll.

from a stop, I forgot to turn trac control off and load the rear, so he beat me from the stop light.

gl though, post the reaults!

line lock isnt for taking off, its for burning out!

it locks the fronts, so you dont wear the rear brakes down and you get a better burn out!
