I found what the guy claims is a 97 mustang cobra. But it has an auto tranny. Is this possable? I do know that it has a 4.6L engine witha BBK cold air intake, hooker super comp. headers, and a flowmaster catback exhaust. if this is the real deal. What else can I do with out tearing into the engine real deep & how much spray can the stock pistons hold?

Get the VIN number, call your local Ford parts department and have them run it. Theyll tell you EXACTLY what it is.

go to carfax.com and enter the VIN. It will tell u what car it is. But for a 97 cobra I would honestly pay that much. Those cars are pretty quick and nice!

 

its not a cobra unless he swapped out the tranny and i don't see why that would be done on a stockish car.
