hey guys, ive been out of town and i just got back to see all the posts. I agree that Si has no torque but in a top end acceleration there not as bad as bottom end. If it was off the line then i wouldnt have said anything because of the torque issue but we were already going about 70.

Ricers arent worth my gas, points on my license, higher insurance, death dismemberment, or time. I will smoke one off up to say 45 mph, its not like I am afraid of him, just would rather not p.o the gendarmes. (Thatmeans police) Besides, if he wants to play bring it to the track.

The street racing has dropped off here somewaht with them, they took thier cars out to the 1/8 got timeslips and found out they are

S L O W like get a calendar to time them. 0-60 by THRUSDAY!

Why risk it, unless you are slow too.

Street racing isn't the smartest thing to do. I think everyone here knows this, but IMO I'd say there CAN be a difference between street racing & wreckless driving.

I've raced countless cars in my Iroc-z. None were from a roll. They all started from a light on a well lit road with no blind spots or driveways/parking lot entrances & exits. I haven't raced anybody past 75mph. I don't see the purpose in it, once you reach those speeds things start moving too fast and if anything WERE to happen you have no time to react.

I think street racing on major highways, or streets with many side streets, curves & bends or with blind spots is out right dumb. There are too many risk factors involved that you have no control over other than your own reaction to them.

Using those guidelines I have not had even 1 close call or near accident. Also, many times before the light turned green and we sped away I made the other guy aware I would only run to 75.
