Default Mitsu Evo

*-Not a race just a story-*

I was walking out of Circuit City after getting my new headphones for halo 2. Anyway, as my friend and I were getting into my car, he noticed an Evo right on the other side of my parking space waiting to pull out. I start my car up, and they look over.

I didn't notice the Evo until my friend finally said something. He said, "Wow he thinks he's cool spraying that stuff out of his grill." I look over and bam! The dude is spraying his Nitrous out of, whats it called, a purge? Well anyway the guy kept looking at me and spraying his Nitrous and laughing. His Evo i think was an Evo 8. The guy had underglow and sick *** paint job, nice body kit, and nice sounding exhaust for an import as should it have cuz it's a nice car. Well, I pull out and he turns left and I turn right. He goes left and I was 4 cars behind him so I jst went home. I mean, he turned left, and I was 4 cars behind waiting to get out of the parking lot.

So just a really nice car, I would have gotten raped by him.

IMO - the only reason you need nitrous on an EVO is to spool up a big *** turbo. But with underglow and appearance crap, it would lead me to believe the guy was purging for the wow factor and a cheap way to make numbers on the dyno to show his buddies the dyno sheet. Besides if he was really into racing he wouldn't have purged in front of you.. and kept it a secret.

Either way, its prolly got enough money thrown at it that it would be faster than the 13's it runs stock even with a newbie kid driver. As said before.. rich parents and spoiled kids. [&:]

why does everyone assume that just because a young guy has a nice car their parents helped them with it?

I work my butt off the get the stuff I buy, and it is so annoying how people are always looking over and saying stuff like "frikkin rich kids"

Just the attitude usually. Someone who has busted their *** to buy what they have isnt usually much of a showoff. They really appreciate what they have because they had to work for it. They dont need to showboat because they are satisfied enough to know they have what they do. A rich kid didnt have to work for it doesnt really care. Its just another toy to him that he wants to show off and feel important to have. Since he cant feel satisfied knowing he worked for what he has he finds satisfaction in showing it off. Just my opinion anyway.

Oh and its great when a kid pulls up next to you with an Infiniti Q35 all hooked up revving his engine and smiling. And then his sister looks over the drivers side and goes " Stop messing around with Dad's car!!"

daddy helped buy my stang, because i was too busy at the time getting a scholarship, does that make me an evil person? i show off when i feel like it, but usually just park in the corner of the lot and put a car cover on.

maybe that kid just finished doing a lot of work to his car, and was proud enough of what he was lucky enough to have that he was showing it off to others...and just because he had different taste in vehicles with his underglows and body graphics, does that make him a bad person?

This kid did look like an *** hat though, deffinately not the one to be making 50 60 70,000 $ a year. Or let alone pay for a 30,000 car. He just didn't look like he took life seriously if you know what I mean. I even said I liked the look on the car with everything he had, read my original post.

But yea, He prolly would have beat me, but like I say, my car is faster then what you guys think from the mods I have.

Well you wont really understand what Im talking about since you had help. Im not saying your a bad person. Listen if I had parents with the money to do that for me its not like I wouldnt take it believe me. Everyone in here would take money or a car from their parents if given the chance. I bought my car, the extra parts, I go to a university and pay for that too. You just wont understand what its like, I dont wanna show off because I dont want people to get jealous and steal or destroy what I worked for. That kid doesnt care he loses that car he gets another one. And im not saying I dont get help in certain ways, my mom helped me get my job, and I have the car under her insurance or else I would be paying 5,000 every 6 months. Ah who cares show off if yah want I dont want my **** stolen or ****ed with ive been workin my *** off way too hard for that.
