Also, my buddies stock 00 GTP just eats these alive. His dad rented one and it was no contest, and his car would be lucky to run a 15.0 I would think, espcially with the huge 15" sub and 18" wheels.

Like I said, from experience I know what my Celica can run and I'm just saying what happened when I raced my mom. And since I was so damn curious of what these Hemi trucks ran, I went over to the Dodge forum and looked at some 1/4 mile times, and from what I seen they were running 15-15.5 in stock form, but there was a few in the high 15's to low 16's, and one guy actually went from running 15.9 to 15.2 after making 5 passes and finding out how to laungch his car, and these were ranging from 2dr 2wd to quad cab 4wd. There were some with basic bolt ons such as exhaust, headers, intake, superchips tuner with like 390 size tires in the back, guess this would be their DR's, but I seen some run low 14's with these mods and there was a few in the 12's and 13's with some cams and headwork done.

Yeah I guess a kill is a kill, and that's never a bad thing. Thanks

WRX - Pics of my ride coming soon. I want to do a little more to it first.

I'd say it was a decent kill in that he is the one that challenged you, you can't get walked all over. BTW, our 06 Hemi Ram quad cab ran a 15.7 all stock on 20's. They aren't that quick, but I thought it was decent for a four door truck. I just want to throw a 100 shot on there and see what it'll do for fun.

I beat the hemi powered 05 truck in a 01 Tahoe by about 2 lengths and in a 05 Cummings turbo deisel by 4 lengths. They just sound good thats all.

the turbo diesels are pretty fast for a truck.

Damn thats quite a bit slower than I figured.Since stock Lightnings run low 14s I figured the Dodges might run high 14s since they have 40 less hp,but they might be alot heavier and have worse gearing than a Lightning.

good kill..they try to make those things with speed. kinna like a lightning. good kill. as stated above, a kill is a kill

You really don't think they TRIED to make lightnings with speed do you? I bet a stock lightning would give you a run for your money.
Oh yea. A lightning is no joke. I went from a 40 roll with one on the way back from the drag strip(had a bolt on 99GT). He put a half a length on me from 40-70. The speed limit on that road was 65, and we passed a parked state trooper at about 70mph. Both exhausts SCREAMING. Trooper must have been asleep. We automatically shut down when we saw him. He didnt move an inch. I was SCARED TO DEATH.

But anyways, I could see my car at least tying, if not inching him out by 90-100. Maybe not. He had at least exhaust. A pully swap, and I would have been WAYY behind.

Like I said, Hemi powered Rams have ran anywhere from 15.0-16.xx stock, and that is coming from a sh*t load of people who posted their times and mods on the Dodge forum. So for those of you that beat them in your smaller engine trucks/suv's/slow cars, you beat the 16.xx ones, which are probably the 4dr, quad cab, 4x4 that probably was hauling a family of 10.
