Well, its wasn't the most impressive thing in the world but I was chasing this TA around trying to catch up to him so we could race, well I just couldn't get to him in traffic, and I had to leave the cruising strip soon, SO, there was a WEEEEE little cobra sitting next to me, all my friends were at the other end of the cruising strip and so I thought I might bring them some action to watch. Asked to guy if he wanted to race, and he said hell yeah, so I was like, AIGHT! I know I know, why pick on a little cobra, well I wasn't having a good day and I felt like getting an easy meal for my car. So, at the top of the hill we are in first and we hit it, NOW here is the kicker, KKASKJKDJKFJDKL VRVRVR! Yeah thats my version of missing a gear, missing second, I was like NO, INFRONT OF MY FRIENDS! but recovered quickly and still roasted the poor little snake. LMAO! Well thought I would share, trust me boys, I will have some more races soon. Just no one will wace me! Or the evade me....[>:] Tootles! Nice kill demon, I would race ya if that means anything. Maybe T/As dont get as much attention as mustangs. I usually have about 3 or 4 ppl mess with me when i go out.

 

Prob cause they don't know what it is and a lot of mustangs are easy targets, even for some Honda's.

If they knew about your car what everyone else with a brain knows, they'd leave you alone.

 

Actually I would think that Cobras would get messed with a lot because of their reputation. Also, a lot of guys might mess with 'em knowing they will lose but just wanna see one run. I'm in that category.

Wow I got a lot of positive responses, thanks guys. I was just sick of running around the strip from one end to the other trying to get to that guy in the TA, and I had to0 leave, so, dinner must be served. I love the SN95 Cobras, I think they look nice and just to see COBRA on the back of them makes you want some!

 

We weren't really sure what year it was but it was the 99+ body style and I didn't know what year they started slapping cobra on there, plus this one was NICE looked brand new and stuff, so I pinned a middle year on that kill.... I was guessing.


Oh and Dub6... isn't it funny, that when eveyrone is watching you miss a gear? That was so HORRIBLE! My car has been popping out of second quite frequently lately though, so maybe it went in then popped out, maybe I slammed the gear tooo hard, oh well, prolly driver error as it always is. Just have to do better next time.

 

Good kill! I beat a 01 cobra out at the track on thursday. I wasnt exptremely impressed with its top end. He had full exhaust too. They do look nice though! Do you know what you're WS6 runs in the quarter?

 

good kill, and yeah it's embarrasing missing gears. The month after I bought my car I raced my friends 95 automatic Z28, and lost by about a foot after I missed 2nd and third, and missed the launch[:@], talk about embarrasment! glad you won though!
