Killed and got killed
I'm in Houston for a few days visiting some buddies of mine, so I went driving around today to check out the town. First race was against a brand new dark blue 'vette. Needless to say that wasn't really a race but damn those things are fast. Then I exit and turn around to go get some food. After I get my food I stop at a light and there's a guy in a pretty clean El Camino that sounded very nice. He started revving at me and did a small burnout. Light went green and after I hit about 85-90 he was 4 cars behind me.
I know it's not a great kill, but for having a non-p.i. GT, I was a happy guy.

Nice. Be careful with those El Caminos though. I just saw my uncles "new"one (I can't remember the exact year but it's a mid-late 60's), there's primer and bondo all over the bodyand aredneck custom made (it's made out of OSB
) tonneau cover on it.But it's got abalanced and blue printed 4-bolt 396 with 402 heads, after market cam, carband intake on it and a 3 spd. manual tranny. The exhaust is totally silent. You wouldn't ever suspect that car to be packing any heat.

yeah, kill is kill.
nice to here about these run in's with old school muscle from time to time. Seem's like everytime I come across one it's either been beat to death or it's a frame off resto that's owned by some fiftysomething guy that drive's it less then 300 mile's a year never exceeding 60 mph.
God I hate that.

you know what they say, "it doesnt matter if you win by an inch or a mile, winning is winning". Not just kidding but nice kill. I raced an E.C down at the local track on time...yea i wasnt impressed. I heard they have traction issues due to the truck body styling.
