The verts are only 100lbs heavier, the auto's are a bit quicker in the quarter then the 5 speeds, so you ran a guy who flat out can't drive. Don't let it go to your head.

new edge GT vs S197 roll race is pretty close.. S197 would get 2-3 cars ahead stock for stock but from a dig, i can't see a new edge GT even lightly modded can give a run to S197s.. i am telling this to everyone, our cars are beast from a dig, and not impressive from a roll. when i was t byron dragway, i lined up against a 02 GT with noback seats, and some other weight reducion with M/T ET streets and he cut 1.8x 60' and i cut 2.0 and i beat him by a couple cars. he ran 13.9 and i ran 13.6. but when l left the track, i saw 2 bone stock 01 GT one convertible and i told them if i could follow them since i didnt know the way back home and they said ok. the con vertible GT had a passenger over 200lbs. and on the highway sometimes we were punching and i was on the right freaking gear too but i couldnt shake him.. i mean i was pulling but very slowly.. i am thinking maybe after going down to 1/4 mile 7 times that day, the car probably wasn't running right.. and also, i am not a crappy driver at all.. but that sh*t was behind me and didnt seem like falling back!
