Well, I've always tried getting the guy who works for me to run me with his Corvette and he just ignores me and says no thanks.

Well, tonight I ran into a late 70's Corvette on the street, I think it's a 4-speed manual, not quite sure!

Anyways, I was going through a set of lights and he was far ahead of me. At first I thought it was my buddy with his 95 TA so I downshifted to 3rd and caught up a little and he switched lanes real quick. I looked real hard and realized it was a Vette, so I sped up even more hoping it would be my employee and to my dismay it wasn't him. But it was some hardcore looking skinny dude with a bandana on his head with his scraggly looking girlfriend. As I drove up to him he didn't keep pace and I figured he didn't want to play. So I gave it one last try, I was 2 cars infront of him when I gassed it and he decided he was game and got up to my door, just so happens just down the road someone turned out from the lights and tripped them!!

I was like sweet, I'm pumped...I didn't rev up or anything. The light turned green and I let him jump me by a fender or so and I matted it and drove by him like he was standing still. 1st gear I put a good half car on him, 2nd gear I pulled him even more, well over 1.5 more lengths and I finally gave up. Man, it felt good beating up on a Vette

 

Good kill man!! down with the GM!!!!

 

Now you know how bad you would beat me if we raced... heh

 

Good kill, those late 70's Vettes are absolute junk, and the owners aere usually dirt *****.

 

Word... Older vettes were okay for theur time but times are ALWAYS changing. Now we have stock 500hp cars where the older vettes were lucky if they had 200hp. LOL Thumbs up to chevy for the LS1 and LS2.
