The m6 RX8 has around 250bhp or so... the auto has around 200... so yes the m6 wakes it up a bit... they have like a 8500redline, lol which can make them dangerous from a roll... They have no torque, so you were racing him on his terms.. he could've also been modded you dont know that... im sure if you would've gone from a dig it would've been ~2-3 car lengths..

That much power lost seems a bit extreme.

 

Low 14s with a good driver. He must of been slightly modded??

My lawn-mower has more torque than those cars. Seriously, roll racing is for vaginas.

i raced a rx-8 from a dig with my v6 04 and we were dead even we both were autos thoe. they wernt that fast as i thought for almost like 25 grand

 

He should have gotten flamed,as in having a couple gallons of gasoline dumped on him and thenstriking a match on him!!!!!

 

It's not just because of the transmission. I believe it's detuned or something.

in my experiences rx-8's are slow from a dig and from a roll, maybe he puched it first? you shoulda put 2+ cars on him, but then again who knows what mods he had done.

 

if it was completely stock you should have got him by about 3 cars. Considering he somewhat keep up with you i would say it had some degree of mods
