Why is this car so weak (by weak I meen why does it only have *550hp witha supercharger!?! from what I remember) and cost so freaking much. I meen jeeze for it to be the 'halo' car for ford you would think it would try to compete with the Vette and be in the same price range. [:'(]

it was rated as 550 hp, but it puts down almost that much at the wheels...so it really makes at least 600+ at the crank.

Besides, this car wasn't made to focus on the vette...do you remember those le mans races? 1-2-3? This car kicks the **** out of ferrarrrrris (eh most of em anyway). It'll give a Lambo a run for its money as well.

 

Are you talking about a gt500 cause the ford GT s under rated at 550bhp. The gt500 is a good car with ample power, but it just weighs too much...4,000lbs. If ford got it down to 3400-3500lbs, it would be a 11 second car stock.

 

The car is slightly faster than a new Z06 in a straight line and I'm sure it would destroy the Chevy in the corners. It's supposed to be severely underrated. The potential is crazy, people making 1000+ whp on completely stock blocks.

It runs the QM slightly faster than a Z06, a couple tenths. After the 1320, the Vette gets walked, hard

It corners better than 98% of automobiles, built as a track car anyways

Its faster than all but the Saleen S7TT, Buggatti Veyron, and Ferrari Enzo, and new Koeniggsegg CCX(which is powered by a BBF)

And its just bad. Look at the GTX1 posted above, or Joe's GT-TT. 1500hp on stock block, crank and internals. Daily driven. Possibly the fastest thing on the streets.

This car is phenominal, I cant wait for Ford to build something better.
