time to end this thread i think, its getting real sad real quick.

 

i kinda hate when people start talking about how only a proffesional driver can run a certain time. there are alot of drivers out there that are amazingand then don't get paid to drive. all it takes is alittle time learning how to launch and shiftyour car at the right rpm's. you dont have to be a pro just get to know your car.

I know were he's getting at...Not saying he did'nt see a mid 11second termie with the mods that car had......but it's not the norm (and 95+% of drivers is the norm)....There have been ppl running 12.2's inbone stock C6'swith stock Goodyear F1's.....but you will never see me quote thats what they run all day... Everything has to come together just right to achieve an above average run (there are too many varibles that it even go's beyond the drivers capabilities)..Temp,track prep,tailwind, amount of fuel, and in some rarecases poor calibration on the drag clocks...
