Had a close encounter with an 04 orange Cobra vert this evening!I had my wife & baby in the car so I couldnt really do much but this guy was game!We were leving the light(him behind me)moving towards the on ramp and I gunned it a little(just enough not to get yelled at!LOL)& he bit hard!I know I would lose with the bottle off but spraying I think I couldve given him all he could handle!What do you guys think?

 

Is sounds like aclose race assuming he's stock, but have you had your car dynoed with the bottle?

 

if it was stock you would have had him, i wonder if there are still any stock terminators around?

 

No I have'nt.My last dyno was 312.7HP & 320TQ at the RW.That was with a diablo 93 canned tune,K&N CAI,O-R X pipe & my gears.I know gears dont make HP but they do multiply TQ.So with my other mods since then I would venture to sayIm 350ish off the bottle and over 420 on the bottle with a 125 shot.What do you think?

 

What's the average rwhp and torque gains from the 3vs on a 100-125 shot?

 

Do you mean motor to motor I would take him if he was stock or with me on the bottle & him stock?Yeah,I dont think there is any stock Cobras!LOL!

 

From what I have heard a 125 shot will net you about 90RWHP but Im not sure about the TQ.I know NO2 does multiply TQ dramatticly though.

 

Yeah, that sounds about right therefore you should of took him assuming he's stock. I hear if change the pulleys, exhaust, and get a tune onthose things theybecome the exterminator of terminators.

 

I have not run into a stock 03/04 cobra in at least a year.lol They are all in the 11s by now.

I run 12.3 and I'm about 50/50 racing the cobras.

if in fact he was stock you would win IMO.

 

my dad brings home alot of cobras from the dealership in the summer and about half are stock besides an h pipe or somethin.
