I thought the SS ran real low 14s. At least that's what motor trend ran with it. Unless he gets some real mods I wouldn't worry about him

What Motor Trend says don't mean squat, they never get a car to run what it does in the real world. The TB SS is a mid-high 13 truck stock, a tuner and some bolt ons will get him into the mid-low 13's.

it might be with someone that knows how to launch it....

but I beatone from a dig up to 120 in the dry with my banana mobile by about 1/2 a car to a car.... after 60 I thought he would start coming back but he just stayed where he was and after 100 I actually started creeping a little... not sure if it was aero or what but that suprised the hell out of me

and on a rainy dayon the way to workanother one wanted to go and I figured I would be crazy and go for it.... after 6 seconds of both of usstraight up spinning I just sort of floated by him at 40-60 MPH
granted pretty slowly but I still walked by

SRT8 Jeep FTW!

EDIT: just read it was the AWD one... I've only run RWD's.... I would still say you will slowly walk away if your nitto's are up to date

i raced against a KB trail blazer SS and he ran 13.5 or something.. my stock GT and KB trail blazer is very close.. dead even.\

stock ones should be around mid 14s. but i heard that with chip they bump like 40hp.

if you can drive, seriously you will get his money!

I saw what i think was a stock one running 13.9's at 102 or so, which means with a launch he'd be mid 13's..

fast, but im sure theyre exspensice too, into the 40K range or more...

yeah....but figure most TB SS owners probably work for GM, so from 40k they only have to pay 5 bucks [8D] (more like 35k ish)

just checked starting price....about 32 grand. DAMN!

They're like high 13's stock w/ a good launch. A few bolt-ons, though, and watch out.
