Slow...
I don't know whats going on guys; it doesn't make any sense. When I only had flowmasters on my 03GT, the car hauled ***, but now with a new midpipe, cai, 70mm throttle body, and upper plenum, it seems to be running slower on takeoff AND through the powerband. I did all the intake installation myself, and it seemed to go just fine, so i dont think i did anything wrong. I took it for a run on an empty highway and it seemed to go slower than stock. Could it be that i've gotten used to the speed of the car? I had a specialist check the air/fuel ratio, and he said it was fine. Should i take it to a performance shop and have it tuned? Whats the deal?
Well if you got a X for a mid pipe you will notice a little loss from the bottom end because I certaintly did but its suppose to all be made up in the powerband. When I hit 3000rpm in 2nd gear it feels like a rocket is pushing me. I would take it and have it tuned only if you are through with bolt-on's and have no intentions in doing anything for a while because Dyno tunes get really expensive. $500 to $800 bucks.
Maybe you are just used to the speed. I dont see any reason why you would have lost any performance out of these mods.

I knew you two would be the first to respond. Its an MRT High Flow H Pipe with Magnaflow Cats. The car takes longer to get to the powerband, longer to get through the powerband, longer to launch, requires more gas to launch normally, and seems overall a lot slower. I've had it since late 2002. I wish I could say i was getting used to the speed, but it really doesn't seem that way. Guess I should get it tuned and take it to the track to find out...
You know, I timed myself from 0-120 with and without the BBk cai and I got there faster with the stock intake (without snorkel). The idle got back to normal in stock trim. So I said **ck bbk I'm getting a maf system.
