Given equal drivers, the SS should be at 350ish to the wheels. With the SS having sticky tires, and the less weight factor. We should be running dead even.

He's not gonna put down 350 with just a lid and exhaust, especially with an LS1 intake manifold. Probably 330ish.
FWIW, a 97-00 LS1 car that swaps on the LS6 manifold will make more power than a stock 01-04 car because the older cars had a more aggressive cam.

What does your car dyno? I was told 350ish, i'm sure I could be wrong. I didn't mean it was set in stone.

I've never had it on a dyno. I went to Stegmeier's to have it put on the rollers but the dyno broke before I got there.
Depending on the year and dyno, astock auto LS1 will put down around 290 rwhp, a manual will put down around 300. A lid will add 10 and full exhaust will add 20 or so, maybe 30 with decent tuning. So actually I guess 350 rwhp is reasonably close for a 6-speed. Some intake/exhaust cars in my local club put down around 340 with tuning.

I put down 370 rwhp with near full bolt ons and a cam. Of course my 4000 rpm stall will make it "show" less hp. When it was a 6 speed it made 393 rwhp. 01/02 cars put down 300-310 pretty regularly, I would think his car should be in the 340 rwhp range. Remember though that 10 hp is easily within the margin for error on any dyno.

Well, a 340 or 350 should be able to stay even with an 04 cobra, true? I ask you fbody guys, for a non-biased answer.

It was around 1 a.m. I can't stand it when people record night races, all you hear is KSHHHHHHHHHH (Wind), and all you see are headlights.
roll the window up and flip the nightshot switch

With all else equal I guess it would be close, both cars have similar weight and gearing (3.55 vs 3.42).
