Default MGW shifter

I am looking at getting the MGW and know that it will make shifting easier and funner but I was curious if the shorter, quicker throw will help lower my 1/4 mile time AT ALL.....what do you guys think?

..Is the MGW worth it even if it doesn't lower 1/4 mile times?

thanks in advance.

i've heard in the 4.6 section that the MGW is one of the best short shifters around....i could imagine it would drop your 1/4 time, but barely IMO

I have the Steeda Tri-Ax and it's alright. Everyone says the MGW is better

It "could" lower your times since the throws would be shorter and you won't miss shifts as much I suppose.

If you can't shift with a stock shifter, the MGW won't make you any better.

I suppose if you are the worst shifter in the world and run 16's, you could have a revelation the night before installing the shifter and go run a high 13. It's almost impossible to guestimate what it could do to help you.

The shifters purpose really isn't to help lower your times, it's main purpose is to help your 3rd gear live a long life.

The driver can, but the shifter can't.
