They usally have about $7500 invested in the entire car. If it breaks they just rebuild it. No big deal to them.

Don't worry, turbo hondas can be quick as ****, but I've yet to see one hold up to anything over 10psi for longer than a year, if that's any consolation. Obviously this guy never heard of primer though[:'(]

I'd be all for the pi swap, but i need to get the rents to allow me to do it cause they kinda watch over what i spend my money on(even though i have more than them)And i would buy all used parts because 1k - 1.4k on new parts is just bs. But this stupid civic really made me think hard about it. What do you think about pi swap instead of exhaust? Cause i dont think the rents would lemme get both :/
I ran a stockish-looking turbocharged Civic at the track that ran 13.9. I also raced a naturally aspirated Civic on the street that later ran a 14.0. Those would both whoop a stock non-pi 4.6 Mustang. It happens, don't worry about it.
I helped a friend do one of the most lethal civic swaps out there.
It was a B18c1 (jap. gsr motor)
Into his 93 hatch (one of the lightest!)
He will definitely run mid to low 14s all motor. It's pretty damn fast, and doesn't look it at all!
Thething is, they'll never be able to out-launch you from a dig.
