I raced my Mustang in my 96 Probe GT when it was naturally asperated. I got the jump on him & stayed ahead through 1st & halfway through 2nd, then he flew by me. I didn't care if he beat me or not I loved the way they sounded, I wanted to hear him take off. Later on I bought an 89 Mustang GT & after a while of driving it I found out from one of my friends that I had bought the Mustang that raced me. I usually didn't race v8 cars thinking I could win. I raced them because I love to race win or lose. It made me feel good.

 

I've only had one Probe rev at me, but when I looked over the guys were laughing in a joking way so you could tell they were just kidding.
I think the newer Cougars may be the new Probes. They are being riced out at an alarming rate and the owners seem to think they've got some serious ***** under the hood there. What's up with that?

 

i was just about to put up a post about probes today when i was on my way home from school a teal prob with svo exhaust started revvin on me just looked over turned up the music and watched the light then i hit that probe with the flashers letting him know i was done hehehe

im sure he means those cars suck, and most cars w/ 4cyl engines are being riced at a stupid rate. even subarus are getting riced out. hell, ive seen a couple riced ws-6's. i get so angry.

I think probes were cool in their time but compared to these cars now, they have nothing!

 

Back in the mid 90's I believe Motor Trend declared the Probe to be "Car of the Year." Good Lord.
