5_liters, a 5.0 GT will smoke the **** out of a 305. They have like 190hp stock, depending on what year. They also have a TBI which is a PILE OF ****.

 

305s are 160hp i think youll smoke him

If it's a 305 TPI from 1985, it's rather peppy. Underrated at 215hp, but they were known to put down 215-220RWHP down and came properly geared with the G92 option and 3.27 or 3.42's on rare occasions.

Get him from a roll if you can. From a light, especially if it's TPI will show you what TPI torque is all about. FEAR the torque that TPI generates, it's ridiculous.

 

My brother in his 97' v-6 mustang manual, raced my friends 91' camaro 305 tbi auto, My brother smoked him by 4 car lenghts, those 305's are slow, youll beat him for sure. they run 17's stock

That was when my sho was a pos, i shouldnt of even been racing it in that condition but i was a dumbass highschool punk. It was a 91. My new ford has a warrranty tho.
